MEET ASHLEY!

Ashley is an upbeat, dependable professional and is passionate about all animals, big and small. She cannot pass one by without giving it love and affection! She has invaluable experience handling and caring for a variety of pets through caring for her own pets, working on a farm, and ongoing pet sitting. Ashley takes much pride to ensure she is able to provide professional services to the community and provides a high level of care and attention to each client. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Outside of working with animals, Ashley enjoys homeschooling her son, spending time with her friends and family, going to the gym, reading, learning, and attending church. Ashley is an asset to our care-giving team and will always treat your pet with professionalism, patience and kindness!

Ashton is an experienced groomer and is devoted to caring for your pets. She has 6 years of experience, starting as a bather, then an apprentice groomer, and now has been grooming on her own for several years. She joins us from a busy salon, where she was also team lead. She has worked hard to cultivate her skill. She specializes in difficult and aggressive dogs, with experience handling geriatric dogs. She loves dogs of all ages and sizes! She also has experience with cats and other pets, and is happy to offer cat nail trims, as well as nail trims for guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, and ferrets as an add-on service with a mobile dog groom!

Working on a horse farm from a young age and working with her own dogs and cats has given Ashton experience through the years that has helped her in her professional career. She is very careful to ensure each dogs’ needs are met, as well as ensuring that the pet owners are happy with her detail oriented work.

Outside of work, Ashton enjoys riding motorcycles, dirt track races, kayaking and hiking with her Landseer Newfoundland, Cerberus.

We are a family owned and operated business servicing a fifteen mile radius from our office in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Our mission at Happy Hounds is to provide you and your pet with a gentle, safe, and stress-free grooming experience. With our mobile service, grooming your pet in one of our fully equipped vans outside your home lessens unnecessary stress on your pet and saves you two round trips to the grooming salon plus any mess your pet may leave behind in your vehicle. Our vans are grooming salons on wheels: heated and cooled for your pet's comfort, provides warm water for every bath, and holds our own fresh water tank. No hooking up water hoses or electrical cords required. Our vans are clean and without cages, barking dogs, or rushing your pet through their appointment. Your pet will always receive our undivided attention and gentle handling.​​​​​​

We use our favorite, professional products enriched with high quality ingredients and no harsh chemicals. We pay attention to details, customizing each grooming session to meet your pet’s individual physical and emotional needs. We’ll talk to you about your pet’s coat condition, your routine grooming regimen, and your desired cut (if applicable) as well as notify you of any potential health concerns we may find. We may also offer guidance in caring for your pet between visits if needed. We strive on building strong relationships with both pets and their owners. We strive to make each grooming session a positive one with praise and treats throughout. We know that your animal is a special part of your family and we are committed to providing outstanding service in a clean and loving environment.
